Microblading is a form of tattooing, done on the eyebrows, and is performed with a unique formation of needles that inserts pigment into the skin. The pigment is manually added into the second layer of the skin (the dermis). Microblading is an amazing service because your artist gets to design your desired brow creating hair-like strokes into your skin. Microblading is ideal for clients who are NOT oily, have combo skin, have sunspots or damaged skin or vascular skin (visible capillaries). Combo brows is a combination of two forms of semi-permanent techniques: microblading and powder brows (shading). Microblading hair-strokes are placed with a manual tool in the entire brow to give the brow a natural look. The powder effect is applied to the body of the brow using a permanent makeup device to give the brow its fullness. Combo Brows are great for clients with normal to moderately oily skin. For someone with very sparse brows, the shading can give the brow more body, while the hair-strokes keep it looking natural. This is a Microblade Colorboost, but if you would like to add shading, please choose the Combo Brow Colorboost option. The Forehead Wax is a relaxing treatment done to a client’s upper forehead area. Waxing and blending of the hairline is performed so there are no lines of demarcation. This appointment is done with a soothing hard and soft wax. At REALM. we use a zinc oxide sensitivity wax that nourishes the skin and makes it very comfortable during the service. The Brow Wax and Tint service tightly shapes and precisely colors your brows. This is great for clients looking to clean up and shape their brows with a wax, trim, tweeze and tint to enhance your natural brows. Every client will receive a custom color matching prior to performing the service. Please do not get your brows wet 24 hour after your treatment is done.
The Brow Tweeze/Trim appointment is great for those who are currently on Retin-A, Retinol, Tretinoin, or any blood thinners. At REALM. your skin and safety come first.
